What a lovely Italian restaurant! The oyster was very fresh and creamy. The octopus was so soft. The pastas were cooked in perfection. We loved the truffle pasta a lot And the porkchop was smoky and silky.... Lastly, the waiter was super helpful nice. We had such a good time here. Extremely recommend here for a special occation.

First time dining and had a magnificent experience. the bread and cheese starter was fantastic. chicken parm, spaghetti pomodoro, and paccheri alla bolognese were all 10s (which is not easy to achieve). the bolognese was the sleeper hit. More than anything, the service was the most important highlight. Gray was our server and made sure we had a fantastic night. Her attention to detail and great timing made us feel so welcome and attended to. Highly highly recommend this place, they’re doing everything right. environment is also so beautiful to boot.

We are regulars at Verana, and each time we visit, it somehow gets even better! The service is always impeccable, and the specials were absolutely delicious this time around. Chris, as always, was spot on with his recommendations. If you haven’t tried the best Italian restaurant in Bergen County yet, you’re missing out—get there now!

If I could give this restaurant 10 stars I would! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is so inviting and beautiful. The staff is friendly and the service is superb! Our waiter Chris is beyond amazing! We have followed him from previous locations and he never fails to blow us away with his outstanding customer service! The food is incredible and the desserts are to die for! We can’t wait to come back!

One of my absolute favorite Italian restaurants in all of NJ. The service is impeccable with an in-depth knowledge of the menu. The menus constantly evolving with several mainstays that I've had the pleasure of trying many times. Every item is made with so much love that it's hard to pick just one dish. The flavors are bold, unique and well-balanced. My go to pasta dish is the rigatoni alla Norcina And the Apple Crostini stole my heart tonight. We will definitely be back.

Best Italian restaurant either side of the Hudson River!! Great atmosphere, lively vibe and great service!! Chef Giuseppe has taken authentic Italian cuisine to another level with his talent and creativity, our evening started with a nice bottle of Sassicaia , home made Focaccia with whipped ricotta, Polpo all Luciana ( perfectly braised octopus) , Burrata with broccoli, grapes and pine nuts, ( absolutely delicious) and followed by the Carpaccio Di Manzo ( prime beef with black truffle dressing and Piave vecchio) OFF THE CHARTS!! Main course , the best Chicken Parmigiana I’ve ever had , a Snake River Farms Flatiron Wagyu ( tender and perfectly grilled )with Robuchon potatoes and an amazing hand made pasta dish , Rigatoni alla Norcina , with sausage, prosciutto, and a lite truffle sauce !!! Thank you Chef and the knowledgeable and friendly servers for a fantastic experience!!!

2/14/25 Fine dining without the pretentiousness. Everyone was so friendly and greeted us with warm welcoming smiles. The outside is simple modern, the inside is warm, classic but not old fashion. Flowers/plants hanging from the ceiling makes it feel like we are dining near a vineyard, so cute. Taina was attentive. She went through the specials of the day and asked about allergies. She patiently and knowledgeably explained what had dairy and help determine what dishes could be adjusted. Amore Milo has mezcal, it was very smoky Cocomero so good without and with the bourbon Calamari from the specials was delicious, the marinara was amazing Chilean Seabass from the specials was melt in your mouth goodness Veal Chops from the specials was so tender and flavorful Melanzane Fritte (Eggplant) accommodated me by putting the cheese on the side so hubby can enjoy it the way it was meant to be eaten, while I had no dairy experience which was still absolutely delicious, I could have eaten this as a main entree Blueberry Neapolitan was crispy had a light and airy filling with a perfectly balanced sweet and tart blueberry compote (I will never give up dairy in desserts! I’ll suffer the consequences later for a good dessert. Lol) All in all we had a lovely meal. Definitely a must visit, special occasion or not.
